With the rapid development of China's economic construction, greening and beautification of mining areas and road slopes have become an important aspect of economic construction.
In many engineering constructions, vegetation damage and soil erosion are becoming increasingly serious. The application of ecological bag masonry in slope soil stabilization and greening is effective, and the laying of ecological bags is simple, easy to operate, and cost-effective, suitable for large-scale application and promotion.
When using ecological bags for greening and slope protection, the slope surface should be leveled first, and debris such as stones and branches should be cleared. The potholes should be filled with soil and compacted. Before laying, cover the slope with a layer of soil about 10 to 15 centimeters thick to promote the deep penetration of grass roots, so that the bottom of the ecological bag is in close contact with the base, reducing the exposed surface area of the planting bag, achieving the effect of water retention and soil erosion prevention.
Choosing crop soil for ecological bags is also mature soil. If there is no crop soil, raw soil can be added with some peat soil, plant ash, fertilizer, water retaining agent, etc. If the soil is too sticky, some fine sand can be added.
Construction should be carried out in spring, summer, or early autumn. After construction, water the ecological bag continuously for more than fifteen days until all the plant seedlings emerge. The interval between watering should be gradually reduced, and the grass should be basically leveled in about thirty days. It can be maintained like a normal lawn.
If construction is carried out in late autumn or winter, do not water the ecological bag again to prevent the grass seeds from freezing to death before they have just sprouted and the roots have penetrated deeply, which will affect the next year's greening.
