Firstly, lay a bentonite waterproof blanket at the bottom of the river, and backfill and compact 30cm thick soil on the waterproof blanket.
Next, choose HDPE geomembrane on the side slope surface. Bentonite waterproof blanket is a type of anti-seepage material that fills high expansion sodium based bentonite between specially made composite geotextiles and non-woven fabrics. People use special needle punching technology to evenly weave high sodium based bentonite between two layers of geotextiles, forming a blanket like anti-seepage material.
The anti-seepage of bentonite waterproof blanket refers to the process in which the bentonite in the middle of the material absorbs water, and finally, under the pressure of the upper and lower layers of geotextile and backfill protection layer, it is clamped and confined within a certain space and expands, forming a tight cementitious body to achieve the function of water stop and anti-seepage.
Based on the actual situation of the river, it is recommended to lay bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) in a top-down order. For slopes with small angles, they can be directly rolled and laid on the slope bank, and the protective layer should be prepared as soon as possible.
The bottom bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) of the revetment should be overlapped and fixed with the bottom bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) to form a complete waterproof system.
When laying bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL), the woven fabric side should face the wall and the non-woven fabric side should face the water surface. Bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) should avoid overlapping on the facade and slope as much as possible.
