With the improvement of the performance of drainage board materials, their application in multiple fields has become more widespread. Drainage boards are usually used in major construction projects such as highways and houses. Due to different construction objects and plans, the process of laying drainage boards also varies.
According to the current usage range of drainage boards, the arrangement of their laying process is mainly as follows:
1. Material selection.
Due to the wide range of uses of drainage boards, materials on the market should be selected reasonably. Choosing appropriate drainage boards can help improve the performance of the engineering drainage system. The construction unit should select drainage board materials reasonably according to the requirements of the engineering plan and drawings. Through on-site survey of technical parameters, a comprehensive comparison of the size, material, structure, etc. of the drainage board is made to select the best material for laying.
2. Cleaning.
A good construction environment can significantly improve work efficiency and ensure the quality of drainage board laying. Before laying drainage boards in a certain area, construction personnel should clean the site thoroughly to ensure the smoothness of the drainage board laying. The main function of on-site cleaning is to clean up garbage, level cement, eliminate unevenness, etc., while maintaining a certain slope on the roof of the house.
3. Laying.
When laying drainage boards, multiple aspects should be considered to ensure that they function properly after use. In general, when laying drainage boards, they should be overlapped with 1-2 support points on the right side and then overlapped with geotextiles. When laying, it is necessary to arrange professional personnel to conduct a detailed inspection to ensure that soil, sand particles, etc. cannot enter the drainage pipeline in order to be qualified.
4. Backfilling.
The backfilling process is to enhance the filtration performance of the drainage board and timely filter out soil particles. The drainage board backfill uses cohesive soil, usually 3cm of yellow sand needs to be laid on top of the geotextile, which can significantly improve the water filtration effect of the geotextile. In addition, it is necessary to take protective measures for the drainage board to avoid adverse effects of external factors on the drainage pipe.
