Climate conditions required for welding and suturing of geomembranes:
1. The atmospheric temperature is between 5-40 ℃;
2. Dry conditions, especially without precipitation or other excessive moisture such as fog or dew;
3. The wind speed shall not exceed level 4 per hour.
Precautions for welding geomembranes:
1. It is necessary to inspect the welding seam area for debris, water, dust, and any debris. The overlap of geomembranes is at least 10cm for hot melt welding, and at least 7.5cm for extrusion welding.
2. Geomembrane welding operators must regularly check the operating temperature and speed of the equipment.
3. The welding seam should extend to the outer edge of the required anchoring groove. All transverse joints should be extruded and welded at intersections.
4. The flat film at the top of the extrusion welding area should be cut off, and the welding rod should be evenly divided with the seam before welding, and it must be kept clean and dry.
