Application of GCL bentonite waterproof blanket in landscape greening
Time:2023-12-06 16:56:39 Author:创始人

1. After passing the inspection of the landscape greening foundation, a 100mm thick plain concrete cushion layer is poured as the base layer for laying the bentonite waterproof blanket.

2. After the final setting of the cushion layer concrete, the waterproof blanket can be laid. When laying, the non-woven fabric side of the waterproof blanket surface layer should face downwards towards the water surface. The waterproof blanket and the cushion layer should be fixed with shooting nails (steel nails), with a length of 25mm. The steel nails should be evenly arranged along the longitudinal and transverse joints of the waterproof blanket, and the spacing between the steel nails should be 300mm.

3. If encountering piles, pipes and other objects protruding from the bottom of the board, the outlet of this area should be sealed with slurry like bentonite. The overlap width of longitudinal and transverse joints should not be less than 150mm, and adjacent end joints should be staggered by more than 300mm.

4. The laying of waterproof blankets around the bottom plate should exceed the underground outdoor wall by no less than 300mm, and meet the minimum distance between adjacent end joints. Effective protective measures should be taken to prevent damage caused by stepping, immersion, etc., which may affect the overall waterproof effect. After the waterproof blanket is laid, a mortar protective layer should be laid in a timely manner.

5. Based on the actual situation of the artificial lake, it is recommended to lay bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) in a top-down order. For slopes with small angles, they can be directly rolled and laid on the slope bank. And prepare the protective layer as soon as possible.

6. The bottom bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) of the revetment should be overlapped and fixed with the bottom bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) to form a complete waterproof system.

7. When laying the bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL), the woven fabric side should face the wall and the non-woven fabric side should face the water surface. Bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) should avoid overlapping on the facade and slope as much as possible.
