In various engineering projects, geosynthetic membranes are used as high-quality geosynthetic materials. However, high-quality geosynthetic membranes can not only resist various complex stresses, but also ensure their long-term use under various natural factors. On the one hand, adding anti-aging agents to the raw materials of geosynthetic membranes can suppress the effects of external factors such as light, oxygen, and heat on the materials. If anti-aging agents are not added, corresponding measures should be taken during the construction process of geosynthetic membranes to minimize the exposure time of the materials to sunlight, and cover them with rock, soil, or deep water.

In civil engineering and water conservancy projects, complex terrain and harsh geological and environmental conditions are often encountered, which can have a significant impact on the lifespan of the project. However, geotextile membranes can not only extend the lifespan of civil engineering, shorten construction time, save raw materials, but also reduce construction costs.
